Aaron Brown - Owner
Hometown: Fairfield, Pennsylvania
Aaron Brown is a trailblazer in every sense of the word. With multiple land speed records and nearly 30 years of experience as a race car builder, his mission has never been to chase the spotlight, but to celebrate the art and heritage in racing.
Founded in 2011, The Garage Shop grew from Aaron’s lifelong passion for speed into a premier race car fabrication business. Drawing on decades of NASCAR experience, he built a creative, boundary-pushing model focused on restoring, recreating, and pioneering iconic race machines and pushing them to record-breaking speeds.
What Aaron did not anticipate when launching The Garage Shop was that he would be building more than just cars — he’d be building a close-knit family of talented and committed individuals who share his vision and push it forward every day. Quick to deflect praise, Aaron credits the people around him as the true foundation of his success.

Moving Forward
From building cars on his own to leading a shop filled with talented specialists, Aaron turned his dream of honoring racing’s history into reality.
His drive comes from his namesake, Albert Barone, a WWII hero who inspired Aaron to take on bold challenges that push both mental and physical limits.
Though Aaron has set multiple land-speed records and tackled major off-road expeditions, his biggest adventure is still ahead. His ultimate goal is to lead a global off-roading campaign from London to New York (as seen in “Long Way Round” — crossing Europe, Asia, and North America). As always, Aaron is committed to doing what others consider impossible
